Today's post is all about maximizing your membership with the Chamber. I have a few short and easy to follow rules for attending any and ALL Chamber functions:
1. Bring your business cards (I WANT you to hand them out!!)
2. Be ready to introduce yourself (people are inherently shy and won't always come up to you)
3. Have a brief description of what your business is ready in case you are asked
4. Practice asking questions that are not personal in nature but help you get to know others
5. Try to remember names, repeat a name when you are introduced and use it at least three times while talking
6. Next time you see someone you have recently met at another function, try & remember to ask them something about them that you learned

Chamber Choice Awards are almost here!
Our Chamber Choice Awards are next Friday January 30th starting at 5:30 pm at the historic Panida Theater. Tickets are still available for $30 per person or 2 or more for $25 each. Please call us today at 263-0887 to buy your tickets!

We have over 70 nominations for 11 awards categories. Of our 600 members, we received over 300 votes! This truly is a Chamber Choice Awards event as the winners were selected by you!
Come to this black tie event and get the celebrity treatment! Walk the red carpet, be greeted by screaming fans and paparazzi, mingle with our celebrity nominees and watch the show as we announce in Golden Globe-style those who have received the highest recognition the Chamber offers its members.
