Daybreak Center Moves to New Location

The Daybreak Center moved their facility to 820 Main St. in Sandpoint and celebrated with a ribbon cutting sponsored by the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce.

Offering respite care for current caregivers, the Daybreak Center offers a safe, home-like, and nurturing environment for seniors suffering from the onset of dementia. Knowing their loved one is in good hands, the center provides caregivers with free time to run errands or take an afternoon off.

As a non-profit organization, Daybreak Center prides itself in providing family support through dementia therapy. Through community support and generous donations, the Daybreak Center is able to offer affordable and realistic rates. They supply caregivers with support, much needed breaks and additional community resources to assist in the care of loved ones.

Open from the hours of 7:30am to 3:30pm, the center has a variety of programs that include exercise and therapeutic activities. These activities are designed to stimulate memory, health and provide socialization time for seniors.

Please join the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce in welcoming Daybreak Center to their new location. For additional information call Daybreak Center at (208) 265-8127 or the Senior Center at (208) 263-6860.
